All our girls teams will be playing at Collingwood or Mullum Mullum on Saturday 14th Feb, celebrating girls basketball and raising money for the Breast Cancer Network Australia More details soon!EDJBA Girls Showcase Round 12 Saturday 14th FebruaryThe EDJBA is very pleased to announce the sixth Girls Showcase, which will be held on Saturday 14th February to promote and celebrate girls' basketball.This Girls Showcase returns to Mullum Mullum Reserve Stadium and Collingwood College Stadiums. In round 12, all girls’ teams from Blackburn Vikings Basketball, Park Orchards Steelers Basketball Club and Collingwood All Stars Basketball will be playing home games, with Whitehorse Mustangs Basketball Club girls teams also joining in the round at Mullum Mullum Reserve Stadium. All 94 games across the eight courts will feature girls’ teams. Most EDJBA clubs will have at least one girls team playing at one of the venues and we hope that all clubs support the day. In addition to showcasing and celebrating girls’ basketball, the round will also support the Breast Cancer Network Australia (BCNA). BCNA is Australia’s leading breast cancer consumer organisation bringing together a network of over 120,000 individuals. There are many ways teams can get involved in the showcase including purchasing pink socks and/or other merchandise through the Breast Cancer Network Australia store or donating through the link below. All funds raised from the Girls Showcase will help the BCNA to continue to ensure all Australians diagnosed with breast cancer receive the very best care, treatment, and support.All clubs can be involved in supporting the round and supporting the BCNA. We encourage players from all clubs to wear pink socks on the day and supporters at all clubs to wear pink. Pink socks and other merchandise including scrunchies, shoe laces, lanyards, beanies, tattoos and drink coolers can be purchased to support the BCNA via this link: shop.bcna.org.au/ When making a purchase, please ensure it can be recognised as associated with the EDJBA and your club by doing the following:When completing your details in the checkout, enter EDJBA as the registered BCNA fundraiser.
